Changes to Govt guidance for UK businesses

OK, so it's fair to say that there's a lot going on in UK politics at the moment!

Amongst all the headlines, one you may have missed is the evolution of the Government's Cyber Essentials scheme, of which we are Accredited Practitioners.

The National Cyber Security Centre is undertaking a process to strengthen and streamline the scheme, with a view to rolling it out to more companies. Ultimately the Government intends for the scheme to become mandatory for all UK businesses.

The decisions being made will add even further value to what is already a vital piece in the security of any business, large or small.

By gaining Cyber Essentials certification, you can prove to customers and clients that you can be trusted with their data - and it can help you beat your competitors for council and government tenders, where it's already mandatory to hold a certificate. This is in addition to the protection against up to 80% of known cyber attacks.

At Ascent Cyber, we offer as much support as you need to complete the questionnaire and gain that all important protection from the growing threat of attack by cyber criminals.

Get in touch today for an obligation free chat about how we can help protect your business.

We'll also advise on the grants available to cover the cost for charities and for businesses with under 250 employees.
